This hotel looks nice in the pictures, but the pictures must be 50 years old. The furniture and interior are old and worn and the place in general in not kept up well. It didn t meet our expectations and wasn t worth the money. I have booked with Sawadee.com many times and this is the first time I am not satisfied.

Great, like always.

The hotel and it s personel are fine, the problem is the location. Noisy and hard to get there and out of there because of the caotic traffic.

That was a little nice hotel, most of the staff were quite friendly and helpfull. However one of the ladies on the reception were not. The breakfast was very simple and I think that it should be better for the price we paid for room. The room was not too big and not too small but quite clean, but I like it because its design was relaxing. The location was not the best, we took a taxi every day because we found nothing around there. The only dissappointing thing was that the internet wasnt free and moreover quite expensive. Another plus was tv channels

simple and fast

If that was a superior room (305) I m glad I did not reserve a standard! Named boutique does not excuse bare plaster and exposed power trunking, small volumes of shampoo etc inadequate for a couple, worn surfaces & basic design failures such as no drawers, hooks to hang bathrobes etc. No Pool but the reception staff were friendly & concierges were all excellent. Would never stay here again!

Excellent booking service, no problem.

Nice rooms, friendly and helpful personnel and convenient access to mass transit. Rooms close to the main street are quite noisy. I would recommend asking for a room back from the street

Oh my God!!!! Where should I start?? We booked a Spa Deluxe room for three days because of the beautiful pictures on their website. After arriving at our room, we asked to change rooms because of the pungent smell coming from mold growing in the water stone mixture that surrounds the bath. Also the room was not cleaned as we found dried pee on the toilet seat. Disgusting.... So we changed rooms (there are two Spa Deluxe rooms), but after one night we decided we could not stay there any longer because the lack of natural light (there are no windows in these rooms). In brief, we will never go there again and we believe that it is the worst place we have ever stayed at.

Nice style rooms but could bathroom could have been cleaned to a higher standard. The corridor was very poorly lit and in the early evening i locked my door and the key snapped in the lock. Although this wasn t my fault i was charged 300 baht for a new key which was out of order in my opinion. Restaurant had very friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast with excellent omlettes. Bell boy was also very helpful in getting a taxi and the driver too.

booking service excellent, very prompt and changed my booking without question

Very pleasant & helpful staff, decent rooms (walls are unpainted, though it did n t bother me)& good location - approx 15 minute walk to Sukhumvit. Will definately stay here the next time we are in Bangkok. The Sawadee booking price is considerably less then the walk in price!

Very efficient

It is more like a motel than a hotel. The check-in is fast and the receptionist is courteous to my enquiries. The water supply in the bathroom is not smooth flowing and creates a lot of noise. There is a hospital opposite the hotel, and you can hear the sound of the ambulance and traffic in the night. It is quite dark at the doorstep to my hotel room (during the day)and also inside the room. The bed frame holding the mattress is bigger the mattress itself and the bed corners hit my knee several times during my stay. It is quite far off from the major shopping belt. Overall, it is ok.

Nice little hotel set away from the hustle and noise on Sukhumvit. The hotel staff was very accommodating when we asked for a room further back from the street. It s also just a short walk to the subway and Sky Train. Also the porter is very helpful in finding you a good taxi and making sure they don t cheat you on the fare.

The hotel is funky with very responsive staff but the property is rather old ..... A bit run down and require some upgrading of room finishes inline with present day trend (too plain) and new coat of paint to the exteriors..:-)

Very good!!

the hotel was very good and the staff friendly, however you will be ripped off if you use the room phone to dial home to england. i was charged over 5000 baht for two phone calls lasting about 39 minutes and if i had used my mobile phone it wold have cost me about 800 baht unfortunatly my phone needed charging at the time so i used the room phone there was no information about these extra high charges in fact the phone calls cost three times more than my room i do not recomend this hotel to anybody

A small hotel that worked out well. The room was more than adequate. An Asian flair and redone recently. Staff always helpful with a good tour booking service right in the hotel. Close to the underground but not easy to get to the skyway. Good food and good value. More than adequate for the budget conscience.

always works well and generally better rates than the hotel will give you

Bangkok Boutique Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 21 (Asoke)
I was very disappointed with the hotel because the hard platform suporting the mattress was too wide and long so that my lower leg hit the corner and I was injured. The air condition was really, really very loud and noisy so that I turned it off in order to sleep and then the temperature was too hot to have a good sleep. I woke up too early. I could not find a moderately priced good place to eat nearby. The location was inconvenient to find an Internet Cafe. The Internet at the hotel was not working for the time I was there and there were cockroaches on the floor at one of the terminals and it appeared that nobody had used that terminal for a while. I was told that there was a 24 hour room service and the only time I needed it, I was told it was not available. Taxi drivers have a really hard time finding the place thereby reapeatedly wasting travel time and taxi fares. I don t want to remember any more about this hotel.

Booking was good as usual with Sawadee.

Whenever we travel we always book at least a queen sized bed (160cm). So we did the same and their website offers that size. However we got a full size (140cm). They weren’t flexible at all. They just told us in their hotel this is the queen size. And offered us to switch room (for a king size) for the triple of the price. Also on the last evening in the hotel we asked a wake up call and a taxi to the airport. They forgot both of them. However the hotel was very clean and quite new. The bathroom was marvelous. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying. We had dinner two times in the hotel. The food was very tasty, but the portions were tiny. Also good location, subway was only a couple blocks away. To conclude we think the hotel is a little bit overpriced.

Nice, different hotel style. We had a junior suite and are a little bit disappionted. Space not very big, and not well used. According to price and location you easy get better deale than here.

Everything O.K.

great and cosy hotel. near the MRT, but quite a walk to the Asoke BTS. the price could be cheaper as the room is small while there were a crack line on the wall. toilet was a bit noisy, and you can actually hear the sound of the shower next door! the walls could definitely do with more soundproofing. but overall, great experience and definitely the most special memory for me and my lovely girl in the hotel.

service is good. but needed to chase for an earlier enquiry on an earlier hotel booked (after about 72hours)but overall, good service.

I stayed there for 3 nights. Very nice hotel, good rooms with comfortable beds, very clean. Very good location if you want to use the underground or the river boat buses . The staff are very friendly and efficient. Good buffet breakfast with omlettes.

Very good as usual (have used this service about 6 times, no problems at all)

Recently renovated hotel, it s simple boutique hotel but important for us, it s clean. Very convenient location as it s only 5-minutes walking distance from MRT station. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant incident just when we were about to check out (very unfortunate because we had 5 satisfactory nights staying there). The reception showed me a ripped bedsheet(about 10cm length)in a folded condition. The sheet was the one that was put on our daughter s extra bed. Extra bed itself was a folded wired-bed and the torn was only 15-20cm away from the sheet corner (and I had to ask the reception to give me the sheet, get myself to unfold the sheet to actually see where the rip was located). Logically, it could be ripped because it got stuck thru the wire or got ripped when the sheet was pulled when the bed was made-up OR even was already ripped when the bed was made, God knows). Never crossed my mind that we need to double check that my bedsheet is in good condition before getting into the bed and sleep. No accuses but it was a disappointing incident because the only effort the reception made was to penalise me to pay out 1000baht but made no effort whatsoever to analyse the condition of the sheet, the wired-bed. It might be wiser for the hotel to ensure logical investigation before penalising their guests. Nevertheless, we still recommend Bangkok Boutique Hotel.

Excellent service and very quick turnaround time.

Not satisfied....high price for little quality...small room, no free internet, loudy aircon, bad tv signal, unfriendly staff and above all expired bread with breakfast and not much choice at all for this so called quality hotel...sorry, for me never again...there are much more hotels with more quality at a lower price.

As always superb !!!!!!! Keep up the good work

We were recommended this hotel by a friend, however I doubt I will take his advice again! The first room we were given was very smelly and instead of moving us they simply sprayed air freshner! We had to request to move and the reception staff although obliged- obviously thought I was being unreasonable. Secondly we had paid one night via sawadee but stayed on one extra, this caused much confusion as they could find no record of our payment and even when I showed the email conformation of payment we were still hanging around for over 30 mins waiting to check out whilst they discussed between them what to do. In their defense they are in a good location and for sawadee rate of 2700bahts per night it was acceptable however I wouldn t stay there again.

I have used sawadee time and time again and always find their service without fault.
