leo langenus 2008-09-15	Silom Serene, A Boutique Hotel, Silom Road, Soi 03 (Pipat) Very cosy and clean hotel with an extremely helpfull and attentive staff.Very well located near shoppingcenters and nightlife of Bangkok although it is very silent inside the hotel. I can t give my experience about the food because I had an early check out.The hotel offerde me spontanouesly a lunch box.I will for sure recommend this hotel.

It is close to everything in the Silom area including shopping and nightlife. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Every request I made of them was completed in a very short time. The breakfast was great and had an array of choices. The room was clean and was easily manuevered. The pool was samll, but the outside area was quite relaxing and calm. Great place - I will make it my base in the Silom Area.	Quite easy and always helpful and knowledgable.

The room was clean and spacious, firm beds and effective working facilities. The guys at the reception were very courteous, helpful and conversant in English, a far cry from some other Bangkok hotels we’ve stayed in before. The location proved to be ideal, being near to the Patpong night market yet far enough not to be too noisy. It’s excellent value for money and definitely recommended for this price range.	The service is efficient and professional. Will definitely continue using this service.

Clean and well finished rooms although the bathroom ceiling would benefit from a coat of paint. The small side street that the Hotel is located in becomes noisy on weekday mornings with traffic and whistles. Overall good hotel in great location. I will return next time.	Brilliant service as always.

The staff are all very good at there duties,and any request is meet with a quick response and a lovely smile. I have recommended this hotel to 4 of my friends and they all agree that this is the place to stay when visiting Bangkok	Great as always

After staying at a couple of 4/5 star hotels the service at this place was a letdown. Not as much greetings or doors opened for you here. Are those important not really but they add a nice touch. The room was dark and dated and breakast was OK, did not go up for seconds at this place. No real problems but not really exciting either, just average. I agree with what someone said earlier, it should not be called a boutique hotel as the ameninities and character of the hotel is not up to boutique standards.	Excellent service, will definitely use again.

Attitude and service were Ok but many staffs stayed around the checking desk in the late night did not make me feel confortable. Very small swimming pool.	Efficeint service

I have stayed at several other hotels in BKK in this price range and the quality at this hotel is certainly comparable. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly and helpful with arranging tours, dinner reservatons, spa bookings, luggage storeage etc. The room was quite spacious and comfortable for the price paid. I Would recommend this hotel if this the area of BKK you like to stay in.	Very good as always, I have used Sawadee.com 8 times, never a problem.

The room we had was the one bedroom suite. Excellent room with great kitchen and huge areas. Very clean and up to date. The staff are excellent and breakfast buffet huge. Swimming pool area very nice but if you want to sun bake too much shadows.. Check in and out superb and their limousine service to airport very reasonable price (700 baht taxi cost 400). They have wireless internet and lan modem, however charge by the day and not by the hour. All up a fantastic hotel.	Excellent as always

The one bedroom suite they booked me in was not only gross, but it was smoking when I requested non-smoking. The hotel only moved me into a non-smoking double bed room because I had just come back from the hospital from an asthma attack. Even then, they would not credit me the difference in the room cost. The hotel itself was lacking in service and the location is quite noisy.	No problem booking - all my hotel vouchers from sawadee.com were accepted without issues. Great service.

Just off Silom Rd. which is busy and noisy. Hotel offers quiet place to relax. Room was clean and well-appointed. Hotel had a nice small pool. Breakfast included. Good value. Pleasant staff. Flight left at 11:50 p.m. Paid extra to check out at 6 p.m. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.	Second time using their service. Very good. Would use again and would recommend to others.

Rooms lovely, clean and quiet with the extra s of orchids on pillow and in the room. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent. Would most certainly recommend this hotel to stay in Bangkok. Close to Sky train and easy to get around.	No problems with bookings and confirmation. Would use Sawadee again for hotel bookings.

Mike Lopez 2006-10-06 until 2006-10-08	Silome Serene, a boutique hotel, Silom Road, Soi 03 (Pipat) We were a family of 5 staying in 2 rooms at the Silome Serene on the last 2 nights of a 2 week vacation in Thailand. Our last 2 days were spent shopping at the Chatuchak weekend market, which is great fun. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is good, in the heart of many places to eat and shop & not too far from the sky train station. We successfully took the train to the weekend market, but in returning to the hotel we got turned around as we got to our final stop and got lost as we walked the wrong direction on the opposite side of the main street. So, a word to the wise, pay close attention to landmarks while walking or using the skytrain. I would happily stay at the Silome Serene again, good breakfast buffet is included, nice, helpful and friendly staff.	Booking service was efficient and timely in answering questions and inquiries. Would use them again.

We got a luxurious room at a reasonable price. Great breakfast selection. Helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely go back to this hotel. A tip, if getting off the Skytrain, the Chong Nonsi station is more pleasant to walk back from if you take the backstreet bazaar. Pick up some Thai fruits and snacks while you re in it.	Great service, no problems, works like clockwork.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast and the rest of the food is quite ok if you stick to Thai cuisine. The service could be improved overall as the staff are not too fluent in English and restaurant staff are quite lazy! Would suggest they drop the boutique as the only thing that fits the description is its size. Would we go back? - definitely as the location, cleanliness and price are a great combo.	Truly amazing service - efficient, accurate and helpful - could not have asked for more.

The hotel staff was also very helpful including getting metered-taxis for us at 5 AM in the morning. While we visited Cambodia and Chiang Mai, we left our luggage in their storage room free of charge. Patpong night market is just across Silom Street.	I am very happy with the service - very prompt with my enquiries.

Terence Lim 2006-07-07 until 2006-07-09	Silome Serene, a boutique hotel, Silom Road, Soi 03 (Pipat) Fantastic location with the bustling Bangkok nightlife just a 5 minute walk away, no need to haggle with cab drivers if you are heading back to your hotel after midnight. The Sala Daeng BTS station is a 10 minute stroll away. Impeccable service at the recep. Rooms are well appointed and great value for money. Breakfast was very satisfying though not the most extensive variety. Staff are polite throughout. Only drawback is the rather small swimming pool flanked on 3 sides by tall buildings, so not much sun could get through. But, well, you don t go to a hotel to swim do you?	Easy, convenient. I had made the same reservations with several hotel websites, but sawadee.com got my business because they were the first to get back to me with a confirmed reservation. Speed is crucial, I do not want to be left hanging for any extended period of time.

Good distance from the skye train and if you need to sort something out such as a transfer then the staff are helpful i.e. we said we can only pay x amount to get to Hua hin and they arranged a taxi for that amount rather then the limosine. The breakfast was good. The pool was small but adequate given its location in Bangkok. Really good stay overall	Booking service was smooth

I have stayed here twice and will be returning! The advantages: Location,location,location! Down a small laneway off Silom Rd the hotel is quiet yet just a few minutes walk away from the markets, restaurants, night clubs and MTR SkyTrain station. A meter-taxi to the airport only involves a short distance off the highways - and costs about 300B. With all that on the doorstep you might not want to stay in the hotel - but the rooms are spacious and well appointed. Nice touches are the CD player, plants, and well planned lighting design. The choice at theincluded breakfast isn t as wide as in larger hotels, but the food is good and varied. The restaurant is pleasant looking out onto the rear landcaped area. Finally the staff are smilling and ever helpfull. The downside: The pool is too small for any real exercise (use the gym for that), and only catches the sun for a few hours each day.	This is my third booking through sawadee, and each time the process has been without any problem. Even though the prices paid are very competitive the hotels seem glad to have bookings through this service.

We stayed in a non-smoking floor, but it smelt worst than smoking floors. The hotel is in a side street so you don’t feel the noise of Patpong, but if you want to visit this night market, you have to cover your nose because the smelling out of the hotel is disgusting. This isn’t definitively a hotel for families, not just for the location, but the pool which is too boring and small for children. The staff was just Ok, not particularly friendly or helpful but Ok. The breakfast was excellent!!!.	Excellent!!!

The hotel is located in a calm side street of Silom Road, near Sala Daeng Skytrain Station and close to Patpong night life. Our room was nice, clean and well equipped with an outlook on the wall of the next building across the street. This was no problem for us, as Bangkok is such an exciting city and we only have been to the hotel to relax and sleep. The service was excellent. The offered breakfast was not very special, so we ate mainly the pancakes, omelettes and some fresh fruits. We can really recommend the hotel and enjoyed our stay in the Silom Serene Hotel.

Airport to this place by meter taxi is 260 Baht.. quote resonable	Worked smoothly. I was surprised at its efficiency. I will use them anytime again

Pool/courtyard was pleasant for cooling off after being out in the hot sun all day. Location was really convenient too, in a safe area. Note - the cab drivers and airport staff did not recognize the hotel name (it s not on their mainstream list), so make sure you have the exact address written down to present to them.

The beds were a little hard and we received two single beds instead of a double, but those were minor issues. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, and the dip in the pool was lovely respite from the heat and humidity of Bangkok. We were very close to the Sala Daeng skytrain station, which made transportation to major sites quick, easy, cheap and comfortable. We d definitely stay here again.	very convenient.
