Quite Nice if you like the business style room decor. Doesn t feel like a Holiday Resort if that s what you re looking for. But this hotel does seem to have everything. The doormen are extremely friendly and will help with pretty much anything you can conceive of. The Breakfast variety is wide and the service is very very good. The location is great as it s close to the skytrain. I rate it 8/10

Prompt Booking Service, no problems at all.

we arrived early and would not let us check in as the room was unavailable but allowed us to pay extra for the executive suites in which we checked in right away. room and facilities were beautiful, particularly receiving additional benefits made our stay more enjoyable. for example, fruit basket in the room and free drinks btwn 5 and 7 pm

excellent.. staff very friendly and provided professional service

We have had only positive experiences of Siam City Hotel. First, the staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. They entirely overcame my normal cynicism regarding the face of hospitality. The location is good, very close to the BTS sky train (Phaya Thai station), only a few stops from several big shopping centres and markets. The rooms are good the facilities are great, but above all the service makes it a pleasure (and sometimes a relief) to walk into the lobby. When we arrived tired from a long flight at 7am the counter staff arranged for us to check in as early as 930am rather than the usual 2pm. And as we were checking out the next day at 5am, too early for breakfast, they gave us breakfast on checkin instead. This was our second visit and we would not even look anywhere else next time we come to BK.

No problems with booking the room.

We had a deluxe double room n.808 which was a beautiful new styled room; very clean, nice and confortable. Excellent staff; very good meals and breakfast. the Hotel is located close to the main shopping stores but it is not a easy place to have a walk as the hotel is situated in front of the highways; better take a taxi outside the hotel to reach the shopping areas! Elena and Fabrizio from Trieste Italy

Excellent service!!

This hotel has a pleasant ambience in the Thai style. Staff found to be very friendly and helpful. Comfortable lounge/bar area for relaxing after a busy day. Good location and a short ride to shopping areas. Breakfast selection and evening buffet was excellent. We have stayed in Bangkok on many previous trips, at other hotels, and would rate Siam City well against other hotels of similar standard and location. Overall would recommend to others.

Excellent service, very easy to use

Very nice hotel not too far from city centre, we were in a deluxe room and waas very big and clean, the food at the restaurants was good and we had a fantastic breakfast. There s a nice and clean swimming pool and a beautiful spa, but it s a little expensive, the staff is very friendly and helpful and if we return to Bangkok we ll sure go again to Siam City

Thank you sawadee, great service, no problem at all

I enjoyed my 4-night stay at this hotel. The room was nicely furnished, although the bathroom amenities are sparse compared to other hotels in SE Asia. The hotel offered a reasonably priced public internet service in the lobby. I took most of my meals in the hotel cafe because it was reasonably priced and because it also served tasty, well presented food. The hotel was only 1 block away from the skytrain, and two stations away from Siam Center.

The booking service was fast and effecient.

The Siam City Hotel is a hidden gem in Bangkok, we spent 2 nights in a 15th floor room overlooking greater Bangkok. The room was very well appointed and well maintained. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The pool on the 6th floor roof was a great place to cool off after a day out in Bangkok. Both the Thai and Italian restaurants in the Hotel do a beautiful job of serving dinner. This is a true 5 star hotel at 3 star prices, we will stay again.

Excellent, never a problem

really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were really friendly and it is amazing how much the exceptional service, and professionalism contributed to our stay. The only thing i could fault with our stay at siam city was that the TV in the room was old and bad picture quality and the cable service kept cutting in and out.

Fantastic for the price, it is very glamorous and impressive looking in the public areas, and service was friendly and efficient. We had a family room, and it was very spacious and well appointed. There was a nice selection at the buffet breakfast. Its location was good, almost directly opposite the skytrain station, and a short (20 mins) walk to Pantip Plaza and Pratunam Market. The view was of construction work and buildings but it is a major city after all, and we heard no noise from any of it! Kids liked the pool. Didn t use the hotel s spa/massage service as it was too expensive, 1/5 the price down the road. All in all, would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Smooth and efficient, I wish all countries had a service like Sawadee s.

Very posh, possibly a bit intimidating if you arrive in shorts+rucksack as we did. Breakfast is something else - Huge huge selection (make sure it is included cos this place is not cheap!) also have an excellent system of storing luggage after you have been kicked out at 12noon - handy if your flight is late. Very good for Skytrain. 7/11 next door. Roof top Swimming pool is a nice touch and there is a small sauna and steam room. Great for a couple of days after the beach/tour before going home. Good views (we were on 17th floor)

Faultless, a relief that all our bookings were problem free with no nasty surprises. Highly recommended and hard to beat in price. Extremly efficient and will answer email enquiries on any questions you may have within 1 or 2 days. Well done!

This hotel was in a great location for getting around bangkok, close to shopping areas, and a very short (2min) walk to the skytrain whch was a very good way of getting around (cheap, easy to use and efficient). the lobby was very nice(we thought we d been taken to the wrong hotel it was so nice) and the staff were all friendly and very helpful when approached. The daily buffet breakfast (included when we booked) was really good, plenty to choose from. We only had 3 days in bangkok so we wished there was a better tour desk at the hotel, there seemed to be little on offer, and it was a bit expensive in comparison to others I d seen around.(that been said we managed to see everything on our own) The pool at the hotel was beautiful, but it was very cold! The rooms were hotel rooms...same same really, nothing special, but served the purpose and were clean. All in all I would stay here again good location and really served it s purpose for us on our trip to bangkok!

Sawadee has been a great site for our entire thailand holiday, where our travel agent had 2 accom choices, sawadee had 100+. very good service.
