Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Rooms were small, but clean. But, the worst part of our stay was this one lady working the front desk. She was unpleasant, never smiled, and was not helpful one bit. Our other night in Bangkok we chose to stay at another Sawasdee down the street due to her and at the other location the staff was very pleasant. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo As i could expect this hotel is right in the heart of Khao San road, noisy and a bit dirty... Next time i will pay more and get back off Khao San road, for example I would stay at the Bhiman Inn, where i have stayed before. With Res24asia.com the booking went just fine as usual. Supatcha Jaimon. |
I like Res24asia.com. They are fast, safe and secure and their rates are great too. I would recommend Res24asia.com to anyone for future stays in Thailand. Mrs Jaimon. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo My room was clean and adequate, although I felt it over-priced. The travel-agent in this hotel over-charged me substantially for a trip I booked there and this somewhat tarnished my view of the place. I would always advise travellers to shop around - sounds like common sense but I guess you think an agent attached to a hotel will give you the best price and not the worst. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Hotel location is perfectly in the center of the city and where the action is, no noise during the night (just off the main street). Building is old, need (heavy) maintenance, rooms are (very) basic, but ideal for (low) budget travellers. Bed was clean, a/c working and shower ok. Rooms are small, only to be used for sleeping...Breakfast (included) was perfect every day, cleaning service only on request(!) |
Very good, no problems at all. Quick response. Also nice to receive a text-message on your cellphone the day of arrival, haha! |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo The reception lady how wellcome us was very unfriendly an did not supported the checkin w/o any booking papers. Booking number and Passport was not sufficient. The rooms are dingy. In the ground floor was a fetidness seems a cloaca. |
OK |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Hotel was brilliant for the money. Its not a luxury hotel but ideal for me and my mates who are backpacking on a budget. Right on the Khaosan road its in an ideal location, however its down an alley which makes it nice and quiet. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom was good - shower could have been better tho. The girl on the excursion desk was very helpful and all the staff were very friendly. One nice bonus was the free use of the safety deposit box in reception. The food and bar are excellent and the internet cafe is great value for money. Ten out of ten for this place |
Very quick and easy to use. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo It s the most dirty hotel I have ever seen. My room was very dirty. The stuff explained that tourists checked out late and they didn t have time to clean my room. I had to suffer stink in my room, because the rooms can be cleaned if you ask in advance before 1 pm. I arrived to the hotel at 3 pm. Bedding was dirty as well. Towels were white long time ago. Now they are grey and with holes there. There are much better hotels in Banglampoo area. |
Booking service is excelent. It works very fast and it s very easy to use. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo The Sawasdee Bangkok is a great little hotel that is off the busy main drag of Kohsan which makes it safe and quiet. It s a good bargin for those passing thru Bangkok. I have been staying here for ten years and have always had good service and no problems. |
The booking service was good. No worrys. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Hotel was not really clean. Breakfast in my opinion need of improvement. Although the hotel was not located directly at the crowdy Kao San in the night time it was very loud... Internet service available: high speed access without any problems. Reception service: very friendly. |
Booking service was very sufficient. Fast and friendly reply. No problems. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo hotel was fine. room was basic but comfprtable. good value for money and location was very handy - 2 minute walk to khao san rd and 7/11. watch the mini bar charges - we got charged for drinks that we didn t even have. |
was fast and efficient but i d booked a twin room and turned up to find only a double was reserved. got sorted eventually. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo although the place wasn t terrible it was by far the worst hotel we stayed in in our 1 month 5 country trip around s.e asia. probably the biggest positive was the lack of ladyboys which are apparently present at a lot of the other hotels in the area. |
booking service wasn t the best as they gave us a double instead of a twin room and we had to pay a 500baht deposit for the room key which we couldn t use after we checked out because we were going straight to malaysia. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo The room we booked was just painted. It smells. That room is ok. Because of the strong smell, I changed to another room. The sheet looks dirty. The breakfast is not good, either. I will not go there for the second time |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Overall a pleasant place to stay with a decent breakfast included in the price of a room, a super-fast laundry service & friendly staff. The room was rather boxy but clean & tucked away from the Khao San enough to allow a quiet sleep. |
Booking service is easy to use & reliable (used the service for two seperate hotels). Many emails back & forth from sawadee though. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo We spent three days there and it was good for the price. no issues with it. only recommendation for new travellers to bangkok: if you are young and wish to party, live at khaoson rd. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo I had the superior twin. The toilet was clean, the water heater was working fine, and AC as well. The TV also had cable TV, which was unexpected. However!!!!!!!!! I had bed bugs bite me all over my arms and neck. It was that blue coverlet thing, my brother, also had the same bites. My arms are covered with them, and we had to throw the covers to one side. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Hope that the inn can fix that so I can come back again next time :). *scratches arms* |
Very efficient.No problems encountered. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo the room s were very small and walls and sheets dirty. the bathroom was tiny and the whole room looked nothing like it does on the website. overall, it was overpriced and falsey advertised. i was very disappointed |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo The chamber quite good, especially the air conditioner, you can rule as much you prefer, even more soften than generally it is, and also not noisy at all. Some problem with brekfast, too much rigidity about the time, that make you lose your writh to it after have paied for it, becouse once you left after 7.00 o clock because of a turistic tour, once you awake later because you did litte hours... It has been much despleasant |
Very precise, and reliable, a real must! |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Good value hotel. Basic, but fine for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the travel desk. Good breakfast. Hotel is well located - very handy to the action in Khaosan Road, but nicely tucked down a back-ally for peace and quiet. We would stay here again. |
Very good. |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo It was in a pretty popular place for backpackers, which I am not. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning, but didn t hang around for too long. I can say you get what you pay for. In the room there was nothing buy a bed, a TV, and a bathroom. |
Very good! |
| Paul Timms 2006-01-19 until 2006-01-22 |
Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo Unfortunately I am raising a complaint rather than a recommendation. It seemed that the hotel bar was kept open all night and due to the physical lay-out of the hotel, noise from the bar (shouting etc) could be heard all over the hotel. As I result, on one night the noise was stopping me sleeping at 2.30 in the morning, which is unacceptable. The reception staff appeared to be sympathetic to the problem when it was raised with them (twice) but it seems that they were unable to keep the noise level low. Yours sincerely Paul Timms |

Sawasdee Bangkok Inn, Khaosan Road area, Banglampoo I have mixed views on this hotel. We stayed here for the first two nights of our holiday and was so impressed we booked a further night for 2 weeks later. However , our second stay was not so good, it was very noisy and the shower was broken. I guess it is luck of the draw as to which room you get but all in all for the price you pay it is a good hotel. |
Excellent |
