alicia nov 2008	Samran Place, Petchburi Road overall not bad for a budget hotel. would prefer to stay 4th floor onwards as the room is bigger.only minus point is no hot water flask.	fast response.
Surbhi Dedhia 2009-05-17	Samran Place, Petchburi Road Samran place is a decent budget hotel. Its closer to the BTS station and huge malls at 10-20 min walking distance. The hotel is very clean and hotel staff is friendly. The room size is tad small but doesn t matter when you go to sleep only. The breakfast is good not so large and is not buffet style. The restaurant serve good food with a large variety of options to choose from. All in all a nice place to stay if you are looking for best value for money.	Booking with Sawadee is a breeze!
Alison Gibson 2009-04-25	Samran Place, Petchburi Road This is a very comfortable and clean hotel, good staff and in a handy location for skytrain. Within walking distance of all main shopping malls at Siam. All at very good price of 1000 baht per room(inc b/fast) But I was unable to get much sleep. Very noisy........music from bar opposite, traffic very loud, esp the roaring of motorbikes. Noisy air condition, also a neighbours telly. Guess he could not sleep for the noise and decided to watch telly!! It was horrible, what a racket! I did ask to be moved to another room, but apparantley there were none available, although I do not think it would make much diffirence as I think majority of rooms would hear road and music due to lack of soundproofing. Same the second night. No sleep till after 3am. Such a shame. good, comfy hotel and good value, but no use at all if you cant get to sleep. I will definitely not return.	Very good.
Wassana 2009-04-19	Samran Place, Petchburi Road Good Location, Good Staff. Breakfast isn t buffet like other hotel, Breakfast is selected on menu. We stayed in the standard room on 3rd floor, we have a little bit problem about a mysterious noise from our bathroom. Our room look a little bit old, it should be renovation I think. Overall it s ok for us, it s reasonable price.	Booking Service is really fast and perfect!

MELVIN CHEE WEE CHEONG 2009-03-30	Samran Place, Petchburi Road stayed in a superior room this time and the room is huge. highly recommended to stay at this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel for 3x and it hasn t disappointed me once. Location is convenient (walking distance to BTS) and food is readily available. Massage parlor is beside the hotel and it opens till late.	hassle free and reliable.
Fanny Hee Lee Ming 2009-03-24	Samran Place, Petchburi Road The hotel not bad, clean and simple. This hotel near to Asia Hotel and front of Asia Hotel is SkyTrain Station, walking distance from Samram to Asia Hotel/SkyTrain took abt 5 to 10min. For me, from Samran to Platinum Fashion mall by walking quite far, took me abt 20 to 30min walk back to the Hotel. Easy to get Taxi or Tuk-tuk by the road site. They provide breakfast to us, is included in our room charges, the room rate consider not expensive(5night - 2 twin bed + 1 extra bed = around 9100bath). Just that the receptionist in the counter, not so friendly and helpful. Is a mid-age lady (on night-shift), all the time moody face!	Good ... Can be trust! Next time I go Bangkok, will book our room through this website.

The rooms were clean, service great and the location of the hotel is excellent for getting around. Some people in the past commented about the breakfast. I thought it is fine. Portions were fine and coffee refills were appreciated. I am back in Bangkok in one month and have already booked this hotel again.	Sawadee. com is a great web site for bookings. I have used in the past and will use again.
cristiana ranchi 2009-01-25	Samran Place, Petchburi Road have been at this hotel before, but this time I prefered a superior room, very spacious, bathroom looks better and semi-new, constructions of building next door have finished so it was very quiet. They have moved the breakfast room to second floor and that is much better because it s very quiet, but they should improve on brekfast choise and quantity. Walking distance to all shoppings and sky train too. Have stayed there three times, will stay again of course, in superior room for sure - room number 712 is very very very big!!	excellent as always

Rooms ending in 07 to 13 are best as there is less noise from busy petchuburi road. it is a 5 min walk to skytrain and 15 min walk to MBK or Panthip Plaza David and Alice	Excellent as always. Goh Pei Fang 2009-01-13	Samran Place, Petchburi Road stayed in this hotel a couple of times. everything is great considering the low price we have paid to stay here. location is good and breakfast is yummy. But was disappointed with one of the counter staff (guy). his attitude was poor and we waited for an hour for the luggage to reach our room. what nonsense!	fuss free and easy !!
Christopher Leadley 2008-12-19	Samran Place, Petchburi Road This is our third stay at Samran Place.The smoke free rooms are very clean and comfortable at a low cost tariff that includes a good variety set breakfast menu. It also has a great dinner,lunch and snack menu. Enjoyed their deserts and fruit drinks It is next door to a low cost massage shop after a long day shopping. No free wifi but includes a pay wifi in reception or there is a good value wifi walking distance on corner. It is not in a fancy area but there are outside Thai barbecues every night along the street which is filled with locals eating fresh foods. It is also well positioned as it is walking distance to the Rajchathewi skyrail station.	Excellent service. Friendly and Professional

We did have a few problems with the front desk staff being unwilling to take extra steps to help us with some issues. These, we detailed in a letter to the staff. For the most part we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it to others and would stay there again.	Booking service was fine.
Ms Ow 2008-10-08	Samran Place, Petchburi Road Hotel location was ideal. There are stalls selling food along the way to BTS. Day time hotel staff was more helpful. Parts of hotel were still under minor renovations (paint work mostly). Building next to hotel was under major renovation/ construction. Was unable to sleep in beyond 9 am on one of the mornings. Hotel breakfast was good though not buffet styled.	Booking service was a breeze. Person in charge even gave prompt help for further enquiries after booking was paid in full. Will deal with them again next time round.
Stephen Tan 2008-09-03	Samran Place, Petchburi Road not bad. spacious room for the amount we paid. service reasonable. the staff were honest and helpful. the porter was very helpful, giving us info e.g. telling us not to take the tuktuks, to the metered taxis and also gave us directions on how to get to certain places. there are no safety deposit boxes in the rooms but you can deposit your valuables (passports) at the reception which has the safety deposit boxes. they ll issue you a key after that.	booking fast and efficient as always.

Less than 10 min walk to Rachatewi BTS station which is just one stop away from Siam (Center) station. 20 min. walk to Pantip IT mall and Platinum fashion wholesale mall. Local food nearby at night. Fan Yiping 2008-06-12 until 2008-06-15	Samran Place, Petchburi Road Hotel was fuss-free and simple.. Was a little worried when faced with a gloomy corridor but room turned out much better than expected. With the price we paid, it was great to know that breakfast was included, although there were only 6 choices that are pretty similar. The proximity to a BTS station as well as city also add value to the stay here.. Overall, a fantastic experience for all 4 of us and we certainly look forward to staying there again and recommending it to our friends.	Price was about SGD$15 cheaper per room per night as compared to booking direct from the hotel and so, i am very happy with sawadee, so much so that i have been recommending it to friends and relatives who are going to thailand. =)

De kamers en het hotel zelf is super schoon en zeer compleet. Het personeel is ook voor kinderen erg vriendelijk en zorgt dat ook zij op hun gemak zijn. Het restaurant is gezellig en heeft een eenvoudig maar compleet menu.Het eten is lekker en goed. De prijs voor het hotel en het eten zeer gunstig. Het hotel ligt aan een drukke weg waar je zo alle kanten van Bangkok op kan gaan. Een aanbeveling dit hotel die wij zeker weer gaat bezoeken wanneer wij in Bangkok zijn.	Het boeken via deze boekingsite is erg goed en vertrouwd. Geen probleem met betalingen en alles was correct geboekt.

Very friendly service - the sort of place where receptionists and restaurant staff remember your name and what you like for breakfast etc! Room (Deluxe) was basic but large and clean. However it was very noisy at night. The disco opposite the front of the hotel pumps out loud music until about 3 am, the traffic on the road never stops - and there are many very loud tuk tuks late at night. The air con in teh room is very cold - even though tehre is a thermostat in the room - it doesn t seem to work. We had to request a second blanket. Breakfast was a la carte rather than buffet, but was OK. The hotel in reasonable walking distance of Skytrain, as well as shopping areas such as Platinum, Pantip Plaza, MBK, Siam Centre, Siam Paragon etc. Despite the service I doubt we will go back again. I think I will pay a bit more for a quieter room elsewhere.	Very good. Chepaest rates for this hotel I could find. Almost half the walk in price.

When i asked to change rooms the receptionist was very rude and just laughed!!! If you want a quiet room you must book a standard room or deluxe. Superior room provides nothing!!!!! Front desk receptionist should not be doing her job!!!!!	Booking with sawadee .com excellent. Just don;t stay at samran place

Near to local market and 7/11. Breakfast is great as it has variety of food to choose from Asian to American simple breakfast and F&B staffs are polite. Reception is helpful when check in&out. The only bother me is only the free glass bottled water which taste a bit funny. U should ask for a plastic bottled water is really fine. Room is big enough for 2 persons with bathtub in it and most important CLEAN ROOM & BATHROOM. Nice..... Overall, I would be back in the future. (-) sometimes Housekeeping staff forget to give us the small towel and to knock the door when entering the room. Perhaps consider a doorbell infront of room ? one-two hole in bedsheet. The room is extremely clean, you can even have bath tub!!!This was suprised me when reached that hotel. In my experience, you cant even find a bath tub in a budget hotel!But Samran Place is really different! A very convenient walking distance to many place such as MBK, Siam Discovery, Pratunam Market, Panthip Plaza, Pratunam Plaza, Platinum plaza, Big C, Isetan, etc. You can easily find a stall there to enjoy either your lunch or dinner and they are very professional in service and the cleaniness is good.Just 1 bad thing is the hotel only start to serve the bfast at 630am. I had booked a tour to Floating market even from the lobby of the hotel but they refuse to prepare set breakfast for me but only sandwich.I think they should be more flexible on this. But in general, this hotel is worth to stay!	Fast, Quick, excellent!

The location was in a very quiet neighborhood but centrally located. We really enjoyed our stay in Bangkok partly because of this hotel. I have recommended it to all my friends. Near Ratchthewi BTS and close to many roadside food stores. Takes 15min to walk to MBK. I would stay in Samran again!	Great as usual. No problem at all.

Staff is not every people friendly now, especially at the reception is a woman not just friendly+helpful. Beside the hotel they build a new house 7 meters in front of your room and so it is dark and noisy at time. Breakfast is not unforgetable great but okay. The street in front of the hotel is high frequented all time. But the location is good and public-traffic (bus and sky-train) is very closed. All in all it is a hotel a bit cheaper than any others and acceptable if you can accept any disadvantages.	very easy, will use it again

Service was great and got free nice breakfast downstairs every morning. In terms of price this is a veyr good choice, next time when I come to bangkok I will stay at Samran place for sure. It s about 10 minutes walk to BTS station.	Excellent, no complaint.
