PRONOB KUMAR ROY 2008-12-27	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 I had booked 3 rooms thru Net and had no idea about the Hotel.It turned out to be a very comfortable and clean Hotel with excellent supportive staff. It is also close to all active areas including Sky Train.Charges are very very reasonable.	Prompt response and no hassle.
Rudi Riemer 2008-12-26	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 Nice friendly staff,very polite, helping in any way.Old rooms, need urgently remodling, but clean,ok for the price, little bit loud, when they start cleaning in the morning, staff is calling each other over a distance, slamming doors. I wouldńt book it again, due to difficult to reach from sukhumvit road by taxi or motorbyce. ( soi 3 is a one way road and always big trafficjam).	Booking service is perfect.

Steven Kleeb 2008-08-09 until 2008-08-11	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 Well, I guess you only get what you pay for. Booked a deluxe room. The Hotel entrance and lobby looked nice and renovated but as soon as you get out of the lift you realize that this is a low class hotel, the room was in need of major refurbishing, it was dingy and I wouldn t want to do more than sleep there. It was clean but rather dark due to a window facing a close building , so not much day light. Next time I will pay more and upgrade myself to a higher level	no problems as usual
Jack 2008-07-25 until 2008-07-27	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 It was really bad even ground floor as you see is so nice. We booked Deluxe 3 rooms Jul 27-29, 2008 (4 nights). When we arrived, the hotel gave us upgrade rooms - Executive deluxe because of fully booking. We had booked in advance for 3 weeks but no room on our request. These rooms were ok. Then, we had to move to Duluxe rooms on 2nd night. We found the room dirty, air-con were so ancient till we weren t sure if it could work. No window, TV position was near the door, very far from bed in front of sofa. Sofa was done for (same as the picture you see on website but darker and dirty). So we dicided to early checked-out and moved suddenly. We didn t care the fee. We lost money for the 2nd night without staying. Anyway, sawadee website gave credit for next bill. The gay receptionise was rude to us. Yes, we said if it was even just THB200, we didn t want to pay (in eng). he replied immediately WOooo.. I don t want to get from you just THB200, keep your money :( (in thai) Finally, we walked to find another hotel, we got it.. We won t choose this hotel anymore, no second chance.	They had no idea for us much. At first, we book another hotel but they offered this hotel. Their suggestion had no worth. The hotel was not same as their explination. they couldn t solve our problem, just book only, that s all.

Indriyani 2008-07-13 until 2008-07-19	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 The hotel is decent ! not many girls hanging out or waiting outside the hotel. The location is a bit far from the crowd, u need to walk around 5 - 10 minutes to get in to the nearest BTS station (Nana Station). They need to improve their service. Was very angry when I was checked out because ive ordered fruits (which taste like onions!), when i asked, the waitress said 30 baht, and when i checked out theyve charged me 112 baht!.. and also shouted at the receptionist because when i was addressing my complain, she was not paying attention at all.. For that price, the hotel was ok..dont expect goose feather pillow, but beds are ok, and bathroom is clean with running hot water..	Very good !

Prerit Damani 2008-07-05 until 2008-07-06	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 to begin with its a good 1500 mtrs frm Nana stn. so if u walk with luggage thinking the hotel to be a few steps away, be ready for a walk. then the check in time is 2 pm so incase u r there frm an international flight, be prepared to pay for an extra day, else they have no availability bfr check intime. there is no electronic safe as promised in the deluxe room, they have a safe box and they well have the master key as well. the pics are clicked very well and the room size which actually seems large in a pic is just abt adequate to manage (btw: most of the rooms have no windows). i had specifically req. for a late breakfast at 10.30 am, (breakfast closes at 10.00 am normally) they had accepted the same. but on reaching there at 10.15 i got no breakfast. actually i was told by the staff that I had been sitting there too long so they will not give me coffee. when i went to the other girl she did manage to get me some coffee, fried egg and toast, but when i asked for some fruits, i was told it was over. but i could order plate of fruits and they wud charge me. so if u r prepared with these caveats then the room probably is ok for the price. BUT SURELY NOT WORTH VISITING AGAIN	Good ... but and instant confirmation would be a bit more helpful

Sunny 2008-06-11 until 2008-06-13	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 Had stayed in the super deluxe rooms 2 interconnecting on 9th floor, positive points are the house keeping services was good, linnen & towels etc clean n changed daily. centrally located & away from the noise. Negative points of room no 4901 is one step away from the lift entrance as the corridors are extremely narrow, one small window opens to view another window a hands length away, room nos 4902 has window facing a new bldg under construction and the only source of natural sun light, the hotel should consider carrying out regular fumigations as sighted tiny roaches in the bathrooms. Overall ok , but having stayed earlier in the same trip in Hotel Green park in Pattaya & Hotel Thara patong in Phuket , which had big swimming pools and rooms with a lot of greenery and open space, the kids were initially disillusioned to be in Unico leela, and forgot abt the rooms once having entered the shopping malls.	Bookings thru Sawadee is easy,safe & reliable

Good Breakfast and good serivce and not to long from Sunkumitch Road but its wery dark side of the road to walk on the left side to Nana. Only the firts part!	Godd booking service and sometimes its more Cheap to by on Internet and from this site.
TYRONE WELCH 2008-04-17 until 2008-04-21	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 hotel service was good. rooms were clean. but it s not as nice as the pics. hotel is old and rooms are small. i stayed in the executive deluxe suite, and it felt like a standard small room. also there s construction going on close by, so the windows of all rooms are too dirty to see through. hotel is about 5 minuites walk to shopping and bts skytrain. good location.

The hotel staff are quite friendly except at the reception desk where they do not smile, they are not helpful and are very incompetent.	No problems, except each time I requested a non smoking room, I was put in a smoking room.

A very good hotel to stay at if you are planning to visit bangkok for a couple of days and want to cover all the major places. Very close to the BTS sky train station and to the heart of nightlife in sukhumvit. Rooms were good and breakfast was nice thought a bit on the colder side if you have it late.

We had to upgrade at cost of 500 baht a night for deluxe room. The deluxe rooms wasn t great either. The carpet looked dirty and door was damaged. I would not stay at this place again. The only good point was the breakfast was good.	Booking was fine.
Joanne Poole 2008-02-06 until 2008-02-09	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 We found the (Exec Double Deluxe) room in this hotel to be modern very clean with a great shower, clean towels daily and crisp fresh bed linen. A mini bar, TV and quiet efficient air con the price equivalent to £25.00 per night, we felt was a bargain. The hotel was quiet at night so great for a good nights sleep. We ate dinner once and the food was superb although much more expensive than eating out locally, breakfast is buffet style plentiful and very fresh. Location is within little lebanon so many arabic restaurants nearby, a short stroll down Soi 3 gets you onto Sukhumvit Road and therfore access to many restaurants / shopping etc. Also easy access to sky train and canals for getting around. Overall an ideal hotel from which to explore Bangkok and beyond.	Easy, and very efficient.

Staff are fantastic, especially the girls in the coffee shop. Only a 10-15 minute walk to all the action area s and also sky train. So as far as I m concerned an excellent hotel for the price. Delux room is big but would not call it delux, reception area looks very nice but rooms need renovation.Anyway you get what you pay for!	Excellent, quick and convienient
Gary Schack 2008-01-13 until 2008-01-17	Unico Leela Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 Overall, this boutique style hotel was clean and well kept.Staff were friendly and helpful.We stayed in the executive deluxe room and found that it was smaller than the picture shown on the website.That in itself was a bit disappointing.The hallways on all floors are very narrow but once inside the room its ok.We found that the short walk to Sukhumvit and BTS was more than short and would have prefferred a closer location.There are no 7/11 s or minimarkets anywhere near the hotel which meant either a long walk or having to pay a motorcycle to get something from the shop.Easy to get a cab or Tuk Tuk.Be warned that there is construction going on around the hotel and at times it was quite noisy.Overall,value for money it was good

All the people worked in the hotel were friendly. Rooms did not have any windows to outside, it was very difficult to know whether it is day or night (this was a delux room !!). The hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from the places of action. I do not want to stay here next time for the same price I paid about 1200 Bht. In Bangkok one may find better hotel at this price. The breakfast was sufficient.	Booking service was as expected.

However, disappointing Standard Room (had bugs) and old, used up no matching furniture. Would I use this hotel again? ....................Maybe yes, but only with a room upgrade.	Good, fast reliable - will use it again!

It has since gone downhill, our room was dirty, infested with ants and lacking toilet paper. The pool area was overun with cockroaches. The chair in the room was broken (legs fell off) and the hotels response when reported was to try to extract 2,000 bahts from us to repair it. After a lot of hassle with the manager I refused to pay this and left. The overall experience at the Leela was not a pleasant one and I will not be returning there again.	As always highly efficient service. Thanks.

Breakfast was on the cold side with eggs always run out,no bacon. Hotel situated about 8 minute walk from lively areas. Pool very small and shady	Ok but can duplicate booking if impatient

The room had no outside window & was a little shabby, but was acceptable. The swimming pool was tiny and seemed to be perpetually in the shade, hence I did not use it. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Has internet access but this is not cheap. This hotel is an acceptable budget choice for a few days.	Efficient.
Morten Christiansen 2007-11-02 until 2007-11-04	The Unico Leela Hotel (former Leela Inn), Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 Unico Leela! the hotel is a fair stay to the price however the rooms are fairly worn down and do not at all apear as in the fotos shown at the webpage. The staff is ok friendly, but the houskeeping did make a lot of noice 4 am in the morning. The restaurant, lobby and reception is nice and quite new. I would go there again but be shure to ask for a rom with a window to the front of the hotel, our room had a window to a wall	Good and smooth as always

It was small, furniture was a bit old but cleanliness was very good. Breakfast was outstanding. My wife told me that she would definitely stay at Leela again when returning to Bangkok. Stephan 2007-08-03 until 2007-08-05	The Unico Leela Hotel (former Leela Inn), Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 The staff are friendly and always there to help out. We enjoyed our stay very much. It s not super luxurious hotel, but considering the price, it s well worth it. We stayed at Leela when we arrived in Bangkok and made another booking when we came back to Bangkok on our way home. Rooms were tidy and fresh sheets and pillows. Lovely little mini-bar and prices are reasonable. Try their sirloin cafe de paris steak! WOW! Only thing that we didn t like as much was the the hotel is in a one-way. Other than that, it s central and easy to get anywhere. The hotel staff gets you a taxi and even gives directions to the driver. In the hotel, you ll also find a tailor (we bought 3 complete suits from him, each. 12 in total.), a beauty parlor and tour agent. I recommend this hotel if you re young like us!	No problems with the booking service. Friendly and to the point.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. A big plus which we only found out after we were there is they have free wifi. Location was okay, fairly close to the skytrain - 5 minute walk. Food was good too. Good value for money.	Easy and efficient and everything very well organised.

Breakfast can improve, not much to choose from. The hotel restaurant was a disappointment at least for western food, thaifood was good/ok. FYI, new bulding is under construction right next to the hotel, I was not disturbed by it but I only stayed 1 night. Fairly close(5 min walk) to skytrain(Nana station) wich gives easy access to the rest of Bangkok. I will surely have this hotel in mind when i travel to Bangkok next time.	As ususal, no problem :) Thanks again for all the help(Ms Kung) with the refund of a previous booking and for suggesting this hotel when the one I booked was full. Highly appreciated, thank you!!
CHUN Chee-Seng 2007-07-05 until 2007-07-07	The Unico Leela Hotel (former Leela Inn), Sukhumvit Road, Soi 03 When you stay at the Unico Leela Hotel get ready a good set of ear plugs bcos sometime in the night you will experience a loud horning or vibration that lasts for quite a few minutes. I have not found out what is the cause, but its probably the fog horn of the boats passing by the canal which is beside the hotel. Also avoid the hotel massage like a leper s colony. The charges at B500 per hr is twice what you will get just a 5mins walk away. The massage is bad and you will be serviced by a fat fat lady!!	Booking is good enough. However it would be better if the confirmation is instantaneous.

The reception and restaurant area is newly renovated. The rooms are not yet renovated, but at least the rooms are clean and well kept.	Good and convenient booking service

Hotelroompictures that were on Sawadee.com were probably taken from other hotel... We guarantee, that you can find a better hotel with same cost.	Booking was easy.

The staff was nice and helpfull.	Very fast and efficient!

The room is not very clean and have bad smell and the service lady have no good face to us. I stay there 9 day, this is a very bad memoery. I will not go there again.	Booking ok, but next time please do not promote this hotel to anyone, thank you!!
