J Yeo 2008-11-24	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road i have stayed many times in this hotel, mainly because of the location. Its a perfect location if your purpose in bangkok is to shop. The room is clean and of reasonable size. Yes, would recommend this hotel to others, however the reception staff can sometimes be unfriendly.	nothing but PERFECT.

The room is great and confortable, but the cleaner forgets to often put small towels and toilet paper. The brekfast is great with many varietes for all the tastes and the personnell who works is very efficient or the best ones compared with the other hotels that there are been. The location is not the best, but is acceptable. This is a litle far from skyway. The internet does not work in all the floors and the price too high. The hotel is great. I will stay there again. The pool is shared with a building next door and forget about taking a bath in relaxation,the street volume gets to you in about 5 min.The overall is OK but.. You can do better and fresher... Johan wall 2008-10-02	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road It looks so good at the net BUT when we get there it wasnt so good. we were trying to lay down at the pool to get some sun BUT to high buildings around so the sun doesnt hit the pool. people who works there wasnt any helpful. We wanted late checkout but we only get 1 more hour at the room,i said we could pay some money for a late checkout BUT we had to pay full price for a couple of hours. I will not recommended this hotel. Very noicy hotel.

Bed mattress is old and not good for people who has lower back problem.	Very efficient and attentive. Will book through Sawadee.com for my future hotel booking.

I am so glad I found this website.It is fantastic and we never had any problems checking in

Ignoul Jean Pierre 2008-07-30	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road I never go back to this hotel.The rooms were not clean,the staff unfriendly.My wife need had a problem with our bagage;she fall because it was to heavy.Instead of helping her they start laughing with her.In the restaurant at evening children run and play in there swimmingsuit in the restaurant.Morningtime at breakfast 90% of the people were dressed in black burkas.You could only see there eyes witch gave me an unpleasant feeling.After 20 years nice hotels in Thailand I think I never take this hotel again.	Very good like always.

Thailand is the land of smiles but the service is not provided with a smile. For the price, I would not recommend this hotel.	Booking went smoothly and easily.
Tan Gek leng 2008-07-19 until 2008-07-22	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road i had a bad time while checking in. i already inform that i will be there ealier and upon reaching there is no room available and they ask me to wait. i waited and waited for at least half an hour but they told me they need another half an hour to clean up the room. i was frustrated and then kept on waiting. after 45mins have past and no one come to tell us whether if our room was ready. i went to the reception counter and then they pass me the card and told me it was already ok. why wasn t i informed and i still have to go and ask them for my room? overall location is great for shopping, breakfast have good varieties.	excellent on the booking system and it was made easy to use

We ariived early in the morning and it was not a problem at all to get our rooms. The restaurant is not big enough when the hotel is full of guests. At saterday we ve wait 15 minutes for a table. The staff in the restaurant were not helpfull and friendly.The situation of the hotel is ideal for shopping. All shoppingmalls are nearby. A walk to the MBK takes us 15 minutes. Good and clean swimmingpool.	Quick as always.

Gareth Owen Woods 2008-07-07 until 2008-07-13	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road The hotel is well located if you like shopping, there are several large shopping malls and an indoor day market very close by. The traffic congestion in Praturnam is a problem at some times of day, some thing to remember when planning journey times. Travel time to the new airport is 45 minutes when traffic is bad and as little as 25 minutes in the early morning. Traffic noise gets less the higher your suite is in the hotel and depending on which direction the suite faces. The hotel suite that we had was a Junior. We stayed at the Grand Diamond on three seperate occasions in the space of three weeks as we used it for a couple of stop overs for internal flights as well as our main stay in Bangkok. On subsequent stays the service got worse. Although the Junior Suite has a fridge,kettle, microwave and electric hob there are no utensils of any kind. I think they would rather you used their restaurants! Other wise the suite was adequate although a little tired looking. The front desk and bell hop service is not of a good standard. The restaurant staff are not very efficient. The breakfast is an average buffet style offering.The service in the ground floor Chinese restaurant is pretty dire, not recommended. Go out and there are reasonable restaurants in easy walking distance of the hotel. The swimming pool is nice, located on the roof outside the main 8th floor restaurant. Be warned, there is very little shade available by the pool in the middle of the day. All things considered we will not stay here again. You only get what you pay for and it is worth paying a little extra for someting better than this.	We have used Sawadee s booking service many times now and it never fails to impress. Very efficient and never a problem. First class, unlike the Grand Diamond Hotel!
Aw Eng Keong 2008-06-27 until 2008-06-30	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road Hotel is located at a very convenient spot surrounded by shopping centres especially wholesale shopping centres; a paradise for ladies. The interior of the hotel is a bit older than what it appears on most web sites but overall am very glad with the stay. Will stay here again for next visit.	Have doubts initially about booking through online cos it s the first time and there are fears about reliability but Sawadee.com had made the booking a hassle free and easy one. Will definitely book through online again for subsequent visits.
Chai Kow Sin 2008-06-27 until 2008-06-29	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road pleasant stay, good breakfast, nice room especially the toilet. 2 TV, microwave, cooking stove, suitable for family. close to pratunam shopping area. lots of hawkers and 7-11 around. convenient. slightly overpriced.	this is my second online bangkok hotel booking. luckily it was a smooth experience. my last bangkok booking with first hotel was a nightmare. it took me 6 month to get my refund despite all paper are in place. scare me.
Lam Wang Ching 2008-06-26 until 2008-06-30	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road Ideal location. The room is clean and comfy. The only thing I have to complain about the hotel is the security. They will give you the key card of the room without asking for your id. Also, they will enter the room even when the do not disturb card is hung on the door. My friend and I went out and hung the Do not disturb sign on the door. When we returned from our trip, there was a bouquet of flower(someone sent it to my friend) in the room. Apparently, the flower sender just entered the room when no one answered the door bell. They could have left the flowers at the reception and a message on our door. When we asked the recptionist, she just claimed that she didn t know anything as she just reported to work!	Booking service is excellent. Fast and easy.

Walking distance to pratunam market, Central World Plaza, Siam Paragon, Erawan Shrine. Now they even offer shuttle service to Central World. The reception and bellboys are all very helpful. Will definately stay here again for my next trip to BKK in Jan.	Always great! With fast replies.

The hotel was clean but not as new looking as you would expect. The breakfasts are good and fill you up so you dont need lunch.	Fast and efficient

Unfortunately, the receptionist at the front office were rude and unfriendly especially towards asians. The condition of room was clean. However the hot water shower selection never work at all. The bedroom don t seem to have any aircond outlet (shared with living room)therefore cannot close bedroom door to sleep. Breakfast was so so only and same spread throughout. The hotel s only saving grace were the bell-hops and coffee house staffs (8th floor), they were very friendly, courteous & helpful. Front office staffs should learn from them.	Booking was ok, although had some misunderstanding initially.

Both rooms are clean but i wonder why 1 room is indefinately much smaller than the other room although we booked the same category!The breakfast was good but it was same thruout the 4 mornings!The only down side of the hotel is the reception where there was 3 very unpleasant staff..to asians at least!!When we asked them directions and some questions on local massage spa,one of them even answer DONT KNOW before we finish speaking!Then all 3 of them start chatting with each other til we request the phone directory, to which they just dumped on the table!Our next horror was when and english man asked them directions to bus station...they attended to him as if he is the only guest who is paying real money!!That was down right racist isn;t?? and yet they themselves are ASIANS too!!!	SAWADEE.com is really efficient and good at their reservation. Keep up the good work!

We will very please with the room services and the room itself. Overall it is a nice place to stay but there can be a slight improvement that is telling the tourist what the hotel provide and what service it has and breakfast should change slightly everyday.	Booking from Chiangdao.com is easy and fast response.

Reception, housekeeping etc professional and very friendly. For a first in BKK a wonderful experience; can recommend to everybody and i will be back for sure! The pool area is really nice, so is the bathroom. Traffic noice can probably be annoying for people sensitive to that. The elevators often had problems accepting the keycard. I met several guests that was annoyed by that. The breakfast was ok but could have been better. Overall this hotel is not an unplesant experience, but there are way better places to stay close by.	Brilliant as always.

Rooms are spacious enough to add an additional bed. The buffet breakfast spread is excellent. Almost like a full buffet lunch/dinner spread. But of course, after 3 days, even the most fantastic spread becomes dull coz the menu doesn t change. It is also very conveniently located right beside the Platinum SC, diagonally opposite the pratunam center, and within 5-7 min walk from the Isetan, Big C and other shopping centers. At bht 2700 per room per night (excl extra bed), will definitely stay here again next time.	very convenient and very helpful. I made 3 changes to the booking details, and received proper confirmation each time. The only complaint is the response is a little slow. I d send an email in the morning, and receive a response only in the evening.

The suite was exatly what we had expected - is was PERFECT,fantastic view, the staff and service more than excelent. If we come back to Bangkok, we will stay at this hotel again. Rooms are not kept clean and the bed is too hard. Price has increased but the service is bad. Location is fantastic, just beside the Platinum Mall and many other eating places. Not worth the price paid for. Would not stay here again. Just a little bit better than First Hotel which is less than half the price.	The service from Sawadee is very good. There was no hussle and reservations were being honoured instantly. Keep up the good work, Sawadee! Will book from you again soon!
Chan 2008-02-23 until 2008-02-25	Grand Diamond Suites Hotel, Petchburi Road Arrived at the hotel at 11am and they allowed us to check-in earlier. Location of the hotel is good, just besides The Plantinum Mall and walking distance (10 mins) to Central World. Breakfast spread was good but there was no change in variety during my stay. Staff at the restnt was not so proactive and most of the time talking amongst themselves, you have to ask for hot beverages to be served to you. Overall, I have a good impression of the hotel and will consider going back to this hotel when I visit Bangkok the next time.	Very efficient and prompt. I received the confimration within 24 hours.

Staff was always friendly. Breakfast was the best we ve had anywhere.The card key system in the elevator worked most of the time, but a couple of times we had to ride the elevator up then down to the 1st floor before it would accept our card. We will stay here again our next trip to Bangkok.	Good. Efficient.

Payed 1000 bath. To much because the price back to the airport was 400 bath. We have ordered a suite with 2 romms for a family of 3. We gor a wery big suite with al we could think about of luxus and was very satisfied. The hotel was also placed in a very good area in the center of Bangkok. If we go back this will be our hotel.	The booking service was exelent. we ordered and we get massage at our mobile at once. Fantastic.!

Service and cleaning very good. Takes 5-10 minutes to walk to Central World or 35 baht by taxi. Taxi is better the tuk tuk. Trafic around here is terrible but you don´t get too disturbed from it in the room. Breakfast was both asian and european. You could find anything you wanted at the breakfast. Many chinese and japanese stays in this hotel. Nothing but credits for this hotel.	Booking and paymant online very easy with sawadee.

It is pretty old, the furniture and sanitary equipment is worn out. And the worst thing is that it is within 20-25 minutes of fast walk from both Chit Lom and Rachatawi BTS stations. Too far.	Thanks to Sawadee the reservation worked really well. It was fast, user friendly and did not take much time. Really gratefull to Sawadee staff for their good work. Sawadee.com is my #1 recommendation to everyone.
