Good location right in the shopping centre district. Beds are typically Thai - on the firm side. 5 star hotel at reasonable value.	No problems and helpful even when modifying bookings.

I must say the superior room is indeed rather spacious and new. I believe the hotel has just revamped themselves. The service is great from the minute we checked in. Breakfast is moderate, although the ambience is good. There are better breakfasts around in Bangkok. The bell service is fantastic and has great initiative. They would offer to help carry your luggage when we are back from our shopping trips. Hotel is also very convinently located in front of the BTS station but the superior rooms are far away from BTS, so we can still have a peaceful night rest. We will definitely stay in this hotel for our next trip.	Very efficient and prompt.
V Savolainen 2007-11-01 until 2007-11-04	Holiday Inn Bangkok, Ploenchit Road Very good hotel with exellent location. Next to BTS station and shopping malls. We had to change the room though, since the first one was at lower floor and near the road&skytrain so you could hear the traffic. The other room was on the other side of the building and was very good and quiet. Staff was very helpful, polite and professional. Pool was quite small but not crowded and the service there was exellent, excactly the same words you can use for gym. There´s a very nice lobby bar with live music in the evening. Drinks at the hotel are a bit on the expensive side but the atmosphere is worth it.	Very fast and convenient as usual, no problems.

However, Internet connection rates are extortionate, over 300% more than would pay at an internet cafe, and even the local telephone call rate is way above outside rates! If you like to listn to music, the two music channels on the TV play the same music 24 hours a day, obviously someone sticks a couple of CD s on permanent replay!	No hassle at all with booking.

We had requested a non-smoking king-room but unfortunately due to latre arrival were given two twin beds and a smoking room. Luckily the room did not smell of smoke, but the two beds was an inconvience. The rooms were verry clean, and the staff were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay again.	Everything was fine.

The hotel is situated in the central Bangkok shopping area, 5 to 10 min walking distance to Siam Square. Excellent location. The thing I realy liked about Holiday Inn was that, yes it is a Big hotel, many guests and so on, but in never felt impersonal. That has to do with the attention the staff gives you. The rooms are fantastic, modern and well furnished, beautiful bathrooms, clean and cosy. The bar, well, what can I say, the bar is the type of bar that once you sit down for a drink you don’t feel like you want to move from the place. It has this felling of being in a posh night club, especially for you VIP. Drinks are super fantastic. We especially enjoyed the happy hour drink all you can between 5 and 8 (cost 450 baht). The swimming pool, stylish, relaxing with great staff catering for your every need. I would defiantly stay at Holiday Inn Bangkok again – no doubt. AMK- Sweden.

And the location was central to where we needed to go. Would definitely go there again.	Good service. Note that you will not get any hotel points if doing through the travel booking service.
TTK 2006-02-23 until 2006-02-26	Holiday Inn Bangkok, Ploenchit Road This is a great hotel in great location-- a short walk away from shopping malls and the Skytrain. Great food options within walking distance, including restaurants, as well as food centers in the local Big C shopping complex (5 min walk from hotel) which is similar to a Food Court found in US Malls. Hospitality and cleanliness of hotel were great. Would definitely stay here again.	Great- will use on my next trip to Thailand!
Thomas Mannion 2006-02-17 until 2006-02-18	Holiday Inn Bangkok, Ploenchit Road This is my second review of the Holiday Inn Bangkok, since my first one wasn t published - could it be that I was too critical of the bad service from Sawadee, I wonder? The hotel itself is wonderful. Excellent value for money in the most central location you could possibly have. My wife and I were given a free upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was very spacious & comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated. Hotel staff were attentive and courteous and the breakfast alone is worth the cost of the stay. Only the pool can be criticised for being a bit small, but I guess space is limited in the heart of the city. This hotel offers excellent value for money & we won t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.	Very bad. I was issued with a voucher for the hotel that indicated in one part that the rate included breakfast & elsewhere that it didn t. This caused unnecessary confusion and aggravation, and the agency staff were rude and unhelpful over the phone.

The skytran is also close and easy to use. I would recommend, however, to take your laundry down the street to Central Place in the Basement they have a laundry service(within walking distance), that is, unless you want to pay outrageous prices in the hotel for laundry service. Staff were very courteous and professional. Make sure you speak with the concierge in the hotel if you need help getting to a place or need a cab! Highly recommend this hotel and I will not hesitate to return on my next visit! By the way, the food is very expensive in the hotel as well so I would recommend you have your meals somewhere besides the hotel!	I have used Sawadee for my past 3 vacations to Thailand and will continue to use them for most, if not all my Thailand bookings!

One of the staffs even asked me & my family to sit on the sofas in the lobby while he checks-in for us. That s excellent!!! I ll definitely stay in that hotel again. However, during my 2nd check-in on 310106, I requested for a pool-view but wasn t given one & the staff didn t even tell me about it. Anyway, this slip could be overlooked as the rest of the plus points have more than redeemed for this flaw.	Efficient but response can be faster, esp for last min reservations.

Located in the shopping belt and in front of BTS Chit Lom, Holiday Inn truly had all that we need. The facilities and service is superb. Staff are really helpful. Overall great hotel.	Great as usual. Extremely flexible in finding alternatives given most hotels in the area is fully booked.
