Dick Jansma 2008-12-31	Montien Hotel, Surawongse Road Hotel is very good situated in the Pat Pong area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The balcony in our room om the 6th floor could not open. The breakfastbuffet was poor,not much choises,but overall the price/quality was O.K.	Booking service was excellent, As usual

Debra MITCHELL 2008-11-05	Montien Hotel, Surawongse Road This is the 4th or 5th time I have stayed at the Montien and as usual was not disapointed. Althouth the hotel is older it has a lot of character.Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel has a great position right opposite Patpong Road. If you want a treat while in Bangkok go to Vertigo restaurant (81st floor rooftop) at the Banyan Tree hotel - it is very expensive but worth every pennie - it blew us away. Will return to the Montien next trip to Thailand.	Excellent service

Great breakfast. Nice pool and spacious rooms. Would gladly recommend this hotel to everyone. I will most probably visit Montien again!	Perfect. Fast and easy.

Staff and service was fantastic. Spacious rooms and a great breakfast. I would gladly stay at Montien again! Highly recommendable.	Quik response. I booked only one day in advance and all went smoothly. Very good!!

Brakfast is incredible, you can choose a lot of different food.	Perfect! Simple and really fast comunication. I will use it again.

Though the hotel is old and could do with a upgrade of the rooms, the service is fantastic - not to forget the breafast. We were impressed. We would love to visit the hotel again.	Excellent!

The services of the hotel were very good. The breakfast choices were extensive and very good quality. The pool was quite nice The Night Market was just across the street. They will get taxi for you and set the price, or at least estimate what your ride will cost.

Excellent service, we only had a minor issue when checking-in, we booked a double room for 2 people on Sawadee (as written in the confirmation e-mail), they had a reservation for 1 person, but they solved everything in 2 minutes.
Matt 2007-09-14 until 2007-09-16	Montien Hotel, Surawongse Road Montien has a good location, nice service even to local Thai. Everything is smooth and quick service. The room is just fine, a bit dark in the hall way and internet in the room is a bit expensive. Anyway I find the hotel staff to be friendly and polite, and that s what all tourists expect when travelling to Thailand.	No problem at all.
Susann 2007-07-23 until 2007-07-26	Montien Hotel, Surawongse Road Well located Hotel just in front of Patpong but you hardly hear any of the noise.It is quite central so it is the easy for all kind of sightseeing tours.The service is great! All the staff is really helpful. Unfortunately my nephew fell sick and the staff was so concerned and helpful to change bedsheets few times a day, bringing extra hot water and tea without me asking for it. The breakfast buffet is excellent! They have a really great variety of food. We first had 2 rooms in the old wing (southern wing) which were not so nice but had no problems to change to better ones in the renovated northern wing. Would come here again.	Everything went well as always! Would always use sawadee again!

The breakfast buffét was very good and we had an exellent dinner at the Chinese resturant. Rooms were clean and well-tempered. We enyoed our stay there. Location close to shopping and local night-market. Watch out for friendly helpers who wants to show you a good resturant. We will certanly stay at this hotel again, and we can strongly recommend it.	Easy to book, it worked all the way, no problems at all.

Dean & Andrea Peters 2006-09-05 until 2006-09-07	Montien Hotel, Surawongse Road We loved the location of the Montien, very central and right at the end of Patpong Rd, you couldn t get a better spot. Upon checkin our room wasn t ready and the hotel staff tried to offer us another room without a queen bed, we weren t happy and so we were swiftly upgraded to a deluxe suite without too much fuss, although it was a smoking room and the hallway smell was putrid, our room wasn t smelly and it was massive! The decor is a bit outdated but nonetheless very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is awesome - we loved the Egg Man! He was terrific. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.	No problem, very efficient

Nice Hotel, the service was perfect,very helpful staff specially the Porter and the doorman .Perfect location just in front of Patpong and near shopping centre. Fantastic breakfast. The charges for late check out,too expensive, nearly same rate as we payed to Sawadee for one night with breakfast. Asked for late check out at 6 p.m but not possible only possible at 9 p.m.	Very easy and Quick respons. 100% perfect

The breakfast is the best we ever have had on our travelling round the world, even svensk julskinka . It was the fifth time at the Montien Hotel in Bangkok. It is cheap to go from the airport whith a Taximeter taxi, but tell the driver that you want him to put on the taximeter or accept a price THB 400 to THB 500.	Excellent!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is over crowded with people, the food s good, but the coffee is instant yuk.	Perfect. No hidden fees, no problems.

Frankly speaking I think the electronic safe in the room should be included in the price. Charging Baht 100/day for that is a rip off. Mini bar prices, like in most hotels are outrageous. Breakfast buffet was quite good, altough the chef has to use less butter to prepare e.g. eggs.	okay

Mr. Gordon Blythe 2004-03-12 until 2004-03-19	The Montien Hotel, Surawongse Road The Montien is a quiet oasis close the the night markets at Patpong and only a 5 min walk to the SkyTrain. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the hotel, though a little bit 1970s, is refreshing in this day of look alike hotels. I was sad to leave and looking forward to going back again. For added interest, I used the tailor at the hotel and now a proud owner of a new wardrobe.	The booking service was fast and easy and even when I extended my stay once in Thailand I used this service.

I will certainly select this hotel for my next visit to Bangkok.	Will only use this booking service for future travel to Thailand.
