Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road A very mediocre, old-fashioned hotel. Wouldn t recommend it for families or young couples. OK for business people. Only good thing abt this place is that the 2nd floor has a BTS (Sky-Train) station. My hsuband & I were travleiing with our 13-month old infant, and the baby cot the hotel provided was so rickety and noisy and uncomfortable, our daughter ended up sleeping on our bed the whole trip. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Second time there and perfect! Great location to access the Monorail and within 5 min walk to the MBK. If you stay there on a weekend check out the weekend market. Get on the Monorail on level 2 of the hotel and get off at Mo Chit station. Great market. |
Easy without a problem. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road we booked delux triple room. we didn t liked the hotel besides the location.the rooms view is poor and rooms equipted very bad. the hotel is very expensive and not worth the money we paid. |
excellent. but the sawadee didn t mentioned that the hotel aquire 1000 BHT per person as a deposit holding the guest as a hostage. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The location was just great! Bangkok was very accessable even with twins aged 2,5 (due to the BTS station attached) Also the family room (suite) was good value. The children was thrilled by the space to run around and play. A good choice in Bangkok! |
Very good! No problems at all. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Hotel is good . but it is costly to touch any other items, either the beer in the minibar or if you order coffee to your room. I booked for three nights and I have paid one night advance, which they have not recorded and charged me for three days again , and realized after i reminded them. one surprizing thing is that they insisted me to keep 10000 advance, which was not available with me that time, I gave my debit card, they didnt accepted. i was forced to keep my passport for checking in, and got the passpor back in the evening after depositing the 10000 baht. this they should mention properly, where in sunshine hotel , pattayya, i never deposited any extra amount. break fast is not good as compared to other small hotels. how ever it is oK to stay there as two of sight seeing places are near by, siam centre and MBK shopping mall. rooms and hotel are clean and tidy, internet is too costly, beter not to use there. good thing is that they gave one day free MTS pass to look around the city. I cannot say it is good, or bad. but Iam not convinced that it is good. |
booking service is really good. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road 4 star hotel???? Yes and I am an astronaut. This hotel have a great location they must have pay some one to have this Sky Train staition in the hotel. But without it I would pay 1 BHT to stay ther. Old smelly hotel, old room, unpleasant staf not Bangkok I would like to remember. |
OK |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The most convenient hotel in Bangkok so far with the access to BTS train right infront of level 2.Room was ok, although i stayed at Cabin room, it does has a small window which allows sufficient sunlight to comes in Breakfast was OK, not that great.Since the hotel is near to Muslim(HALAL) restaurant so I don t mind that much about the food |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road We could not leave the hotel without beeing bothered by stinky taxi drivers in the hotel lobby.the entrance must be a market road. --never again -- |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The hotel has a GREAT location. It is attached to the Ratchathewi station, which is the stop next to Siam, the big central station where you can switch between the Sukhumvit line and the Silom line. The hotel itself was adequate-nothing in particular to write home about. Rooms were clean and on the roomy side, but if you are looking for luxury, this isn t the place for you. The service wasn t bad, but the staff s lack of English made communication frustrating at times. Whenever I asked the Information desk for information, I was often flippantly told to just take a taxi. If you aren t careful, you can be seriously ripped off doing that. It was mostly one guy who conspired to force me to take a taxi when it would have been way cheaper and just as easy to use public transportation, which is btw great in Bangkok. Also, I was quite upset when they told me they charged to make local Bangkok calls, as that seemed unreasonable to me. However, when I complained of a sound my AC vent was making, it was immediately addressed and fixed. There are restaurants located in the hotel, which is convenient when you lack the time/effort to find another place to eat. American breakfast wasn t, but it was solid food, especially early in the morning. |
Booking was easy and quick. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road I have stayed at Asia Hotel on many occasions. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is very centrally situated and over a Sky train station, making it very easy to get around Bangkok. |
Excellent as always |
| Chris Wuerker 2008-05-10 until 2008-05-13 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Can t recommend it. Dark rooms, in urgent need for a renovation, most furnitures are broken. When taking a shower your choise is beeing boiled or frozen, nothing in between. AND, for a cup of hot water to make a bottle of baby milk they charge 35 Baht, unbelievable. |
Booking service was easy. |
| Margaret Ann Crichton 2008-04-29 until 2008-05-01 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road good, clean hotel close to shopd judt 5 mind walk to MBK and Siam Paragon, best bargain in MBK and street stalls over the road. taxi from airport sld cost no more that 300Tbaht but you must ak for meter taxi or they will rip you off! you can also get a airport bus to door of hotel for 150Tbaht its a no4 bus (airport xpress) the overhead rail runs from hotel so v easy to get around but no connection to airport as yet. Its cheap, quick and easy to use. The hotel allowed me to check out at 2pm instead of 12noon which was better fro my flight. there is a cheap internet cafe just down the road from the hotel (cheaper than hotel) all in all a good place to stay for the money and well situated, 2 nice pools. |
very efficient. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road This was my second stay at Asia Bangkok and enjoyed it very much. I stayed for 3 nights, and since I booked online I received a one-day pass on the skytrain which was great! I booked a superior room with 2 twin beds. We had a view of the pool which was nice. Decor is a little dated but for the price I paid it is expected. This hotel is a great value. Great proximity to the skytrain which allowed me to go to MBK everyday (i go there to eat instead of the extra 100B they charge for breakfast included package). Room was clean, great service, even offered filtered water. |
this is my 3rd time booking on sawadee.com. i will use this service again. |
| Nina Brobeck 2008-03-21 until 2008-03-25 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road We booked a Asia suite with 2bedrooms for 4 persons. But when we checked in there was a problem with one of the bathrooms. No explanation, we just got two other rooms. No fun at all and the only staff that we thought were nice were the bellboys. The best about this hotell was the pass to the skytrain. We dont think we will stay here again |
Good as always. No problems at all |
| Anneli Yngstrand 2008-03-04 until 2008-03-06 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The hotel was very good, very near to the stores if you wanna shop.Nice rooms, and personal. It was very good, the sky traine had a station at the hotel. |
It was easy to book, but when we arrived they dont find our booking. But they help us with another room. |
| Rita Shakhtour 2008-03-02 until 2008-03-04 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Good location. Connected directly to the sky train. Clean rooms. Breakfast was ok. A big concrete wall blocked a large part of the view from the window. No ballcony. Would stay there again. |
Very good. |
| Lotte Engebladh 2008-02-18 until 2008-02-22 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road We chose this hotel because BTS connects direct with it, but besides that this hotel needs some renovation. The staff, however, are nice but need to work on their English skills. We have stayed here before, but will chose other options for next time. |
Ok |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Perfect location, in the middle of all the shopping and easy access by BTS to everthing. Rooms lovely and clean, staff pleasant, little touches like complimentary fruit bowl one morning. |
First rate booking service. Very simple, quick and efficient. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Have stayed there several times and are very happy with it. Only negative is that some of the staff that work there does have som attitudeproblems, wich i dont often see in Thailand. |
Bookingservice worked great! As always. |
| Robert Malm 2008-01-12 until 2008-01-15 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The only good thing with this hotel is the location. The service is very bad. Upon arrival we told the reception that it was very important that the room was non smoking, though my girlfriend has astma and get very ill. Even though we informed at least 10 times at the reception we received a smoking room. And it was so obvious that they didn´t care at all. Upon time for departure the checkout time took 45 minutes !!! Everything was in order but the receptionist was unefficient and slow. I wouldn´t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. |
The booking service on sawadee are excellent. I always tell my friends to use your service when travelling. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Have stayed at Asia Hotel for last 7 years. The hotel is excellent, shopping centres 10 minutes walk away. Rooms clean and tidy. Small problem with this years stay on 1st night, on arrival we were told our room had been given away by mistake. The hotel took us by car to another hotel and collected us again following morning. Despite confusion we were looked after very well and not just turned away. Asia Hotel highly recommended |
Fast efficient highly recommended |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road This was our 2nd time to stay here at Asia Bangkok Hotel, both times in January and booked via Sawadee.com. Great location since the BTS is connected to the hotel on the second floor. Internet access is higher than most, so if you need to use it, walk out the side door of the hotel by silk shop and there is an internet shop across the street costing 40baht/hr fairly fast speed also. Can not use your own notebook. If you are going to spend anytime online, I would suggest going to Siam Paragon Mall via BTS, on the 3rd or 4th floor look/ask for TRUE cafe. 50baht/hr using their computer or 150baht/hr using your own wiresless notebook. Best internet cafe. Using BTS from hotel is easy. What ever stop you want to get off at, look at the number next to the ticketing machine that is how many stops/transfers you will need. To determine which train, look at the station name at then end of the track you will use to get to your stop location. This will determine the train you use. Train goes to both MBK Mall and Siam Paragon Mall. Paragon is high end mall, not bargins. MBK Mall you can bargin. Unlocked cell phones on 4th floor. Metered taxi is cheap starting off at 35baht, we pretty much got around all of downtown bangkok for about 70baht total. Back to the hotel we stayed in the family suite in room 502, 504, 506 all connecting rooms. Nice large rooms, it is smokey room had to ionize the rooms. 502 sounded like it was under a roller skate ring. you could hear the work station phone in the hallway ring in room 504. Nice room but would not suggest it, hotel was full and could not move. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Bell captains were great and very help full. We paid a little more and got a van due to luggage from hotel to airport for 1400baht. If single traveler flag down a metered taxi no more than 400baht for airport transfer. We made a deal with Tuk Tuk driver for $1US/hr to take us around and be with us all day. He will take you to a shopping hotspot at either a jewelry or tailor store, they get gas coupons for bringing in customers, part of the deal, but was a fun adventure. Do not feel pressured to buy anything. |
Sawadee.com was great as usual. There was a problem with checking in, as the hotel did not have us booked. I showed them the printed reservations and they found a room for us. I contacted Patrick at Sawadee and he assured me it was booked and my deposit was credited to my booking. At the end it was. So it is important to bring your printed confirmation/reservation. I will continue to use Sawadee.com for my future bookings. Hope you have a fun stay. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road As mentioned by other visitors, the hotel is in a great location if you want to use the skytrain. It was very convenient to get to the weekend market at Mochit Station. The complimentary breakfast on the 17th floor was also a nice surprise. Unfortunately, there were tiny ants in our room :( I don t know if I would stay there again. |
The booking service was very efficient. I was able to get the room I wanted at the price I wanted. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The location is excellant, with the BTS connected to the hotel second floor.A breeze to the major shopping centres, tourist sights, etc. The hotel is large with spacious lobby, public areas, health club, 2 swimming pools for the enjoyment of house guests. Four in house F & B outlets served great cuisines, ie: Brazilian, Chinese, Vietnamese and a 24 hours Coffee house. The waiting staff is attentive and pleasant. Food is great too. A must try. Buffet breakfast was just so so but adequate to satrt the day. Check in was smooth, with the Duty Manager welcoming us on arrival to pass a important message from my ministry. Delightful! Our two rooms were large, newly renovated with careful amenities and comfort details, almost 5 star set up. The housekeeping staff did a great job as the rooms were sparkling clean! The beds were great and gave a good night well supported sleep. The carpet was new, clean and added coziness to the already great room. We were on the 11th floor, non smoking and away from the mass market groups. It was quiet and with good embiance! Just be aware to allow more time to check out, as the Cashier (Mature lady) was moody, slow and impolite. Our entire bill including the mini bar bill was paid but while we were alighting the taxi to airport, we were stopped and told to pay the second time. We paid the bell hop at he entrance the second time to avoid delay. Hotel taxi parked and managed by the bell hops tend to overcharge and refused to use the meter. So insist to hail a passing by taxi. This will be self service because the bell hop will not help you if you don t use the hotel taxis. We have bad experience with the bell hops who insisted we use the hotel taxi for shopping and lastly for the airport. So beware! Overall, Asia Hotel is a great place to stayand good value for money. |
Great, no fuss and efficient. We got all our requests done in great speed. Reply was prompt payment mode convenience and practically: First night deposit the balance to pai upon arrival. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road We were a family of four adults that stayed in an Asia Suite for two nights. Clean, huge (too big) suite with lovely made elephant towels and an english daily paper through the door in the morning.17th floor and a fantastic view. Very good location. Not the Swedish style of furniture exactly but well worth the price! |
We booked over the net from an internet café and everything worked out just fine |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Great location! Hotel linked to BTS skytrainstation, so it only takes 30sec and you re on the go. No problem walking either... Rooms are very clean and quite nice, nothing special though. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff!! |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The Asia Hotel was great. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, which was massive. Access to the skyrail was within the hotel. Shopping centres (MBK, Central World) are within walking distance. Breakfast was okay, it did the job. To be honest I really have no complaints about this hotel, the room was cleaned everyday and the staff were friendly. |
Booking was easy. Will book through sawadee.com again. |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road We stayd several times at Asia Hotel in Bangkok. It is connected to BTS station so that we can easilly go anywhere. Little bit old hotel but hotel clue are friendly. One thing I felt uneasy is that it took very long time to check in. |
very well |
| Ng Jia Yu 2007-09-01 until 2007-09-03 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Room is spacious except it is old and a bit worn out. Fridge was not cold and was badly leaking. We d ordered some supper for our children and the food turned up to be unfresh. The female staff in the reception was rather unfriendly and behaved rudely when we made some enquiries during check out. |
Convenience and efficient |

Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Good hotel. Nice rooms. Great: Direct connection to the skytrain, so there is no need to discuss with the tuctuc-driver waiting in front of the hotel! |
good and fast |
| Pam Field 2007-08-03 until 2007-08-07 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Comfortable accommodation and well situated. Staff very friendly and meals in the Tivoli Restaurant were very nice. Internet area very expensive compared to other hotels we used during this trip. We used the hotel taxi to go to the airport and although we knew it was much more expensive (900bht) than a metered taxi we were just happy to not have to fight with taxi drivers at the end of our trip over meters. It was great being attached to the skytrain and because breakfast was not included in room rate we went to MBK most mornings for brunch. Must admit were were just as comfortable at the Bossotel which was much cheaper and included a wonderful buffet breakfast. Would probably stay there again next time. |
Booking service was prompt, polite, professional and very reliable. |
| Veronica Lee 2007-07-28 until 2007-07-31 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road The hotel s location is excellent & is within 10 minutes walking to major shopping malls. There are also many massage places next to the hotel. The hotel staff are also very friendly & helpful. |
Very helpful staff & responded really quick to my numerous queries! |
| Daniel O Riordan 2007-07-13 until 2007-07-16 |
Asia Bangkok Hotel, Rajthevee Road Reception was very slow working. We had to queue for check in for 45 mins. Then they assigned me a single room when i had booked a twin room. When i showed them the booking they said i had only booked a single room. Got the twin room eventually. Room had ants crawling over the night stand. For the price of this Hotel it is most definitely not worth it. Considering The Grand Diamond is a simliar price and that hotel was fantastic. |
great as always |
