About the hotel:
The hotel is a small boutique hotel right at the beach south of Lamai, well maintained and decorated with attention to detail. It is a five minute drive off Lamai and a taxi stand is right in front of the hotel. We had a beach front bungalow which was quite, clean, nicely furnished with a large bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly and forthcoming. The restaurant is nicely located on top of some rocks right on the beach. It serves excellent Thai food at acceptable prices. While the hotel has two pools they are both very small - the garden pool was actually under repair and could not be used.

About the hotel:
We had a superb week at this lovely resort the highpoint of which was our son s wedding totally organised by the Resort. Their organisation was brilliant with great attention to detail and service. Apart from the beach wedding itself and two photographers we had a superb meal in a private room, entertainment, fireworks, cake and dancing. Faultless organisation throughout.

About the hotel:
we loved Rocky s Resort! our room (large junior suite) was beautifully decorated and spacious. the pools were a great bonus and the grounds are beautifully manicured,and the staff is so friendly and helpful. well worth the more expensive rate. the restaurant had a great menu and the food was amazing, however the pricing seemed a bit on the high side...even for a higher end resort. we wished we could have stayed here longer.

From arriving in the beautiful setting of Rocky s Resort we received excellent service. The staff are more than willing to help with any needs you require. From our private fishing boat trip to each delicious meal in the restaurant. Prices are reasonable for the quality and you get what you pay for! Not recommended if travelling with elderly or disabled as the resort is set on a slope to the beach, plenty of steps to get to your room or garden pool etc. Room detail is amazing from entering with fresh orchids and flower displays. Has the unique furnishings from local businesses. Overall Highly recommended!

This hotel is first class all the way. We had our wedding at Rocky s and would never have it any other way- it was perfect! Luke is amazing and all the other staff for that special night were fantastic. This is the perfect wedding/honeymoon hotel as it has its own private beach, 3 pools, and great cocktails. We recommend getting a scooter to get around as the hotel is a bit far away from shops and Lamai beach. Another point is if you are travelling with elderly or unabled people try to get a ground floor room as the stairs and paths around Rocky s can be quite dangerous. Apart from that this is one special place!

About the hotel:
We stayed at the Rocky Resort for 11 nights in the Deluxe Junior Ocean View villa. The Resort was superb with excellent service and all the little things well looked after. The restuarant s dinner meals were fantastic with an assortment of Thai and Western food depending on your mood. I highly recommend the Rocky Resort for anyone wanting a relaxing and quiet stay. The staff were by and large excellent with any small problems being attended to quickly. The accommodation itself was very nice and cleaned extremely well each day (and at convenient times). The resort facilities were very good. On the downside, the resort is a long way to Chaweng (20 mins and around 300-400 baht tax ride) and a 20-25 minute walk to Lamai s restuarants and shopping. Any purchases from the resort (food, drinks, car hire) were at Western retail prices. Overall, though it was excellent.

An excellent selection of places to stay on Koh Samui with the booking being confirmed reasonably quickly. The only issues relates to any of the specials on offer (eg. 10 nights for 8; airport transfers) not being included on initial booking and some discussion required at initial booking and at the hotel to indicate that these are also included.

Resort had been great. Service was fantastic. I love the toilet at the sea view rooms... they are so spacious. comfortable and big beds... everything was great by their special arrangements for flowers and chocolates were quite a disappointment. But on the whole, most staff could speak english and facilities were always available. :)

the resort was lush & tropical with a wonderful view during full moon. the room was appointed nicely with the acception of a very hard bed. the meals were excellent, the bbq and breakfast were quite lavish but the evening show Las Vegas style was a bit out of context with the flavor of the islands. we loved the garden pool, sans children and the butterflies were a real bonus. so were the exotic flower arrangements and orchids abounding. thank you for a romantic holiday

We stayed a total of 10 days in the ocean view apt with 3 kids. We loved the hotel and the friendly staff. Very peaceful place with great pools and gardens. The restaurant was very good. Sea view was to a large degree blocked by trees. No swimming at low tide. Altogether a very nice place if you don t have to be in the middle of Chaweng or Lamai.

At Rockys Boutique Resort we have 2 swimming pools, one along the beachfront, one in the upper garden. Both have a large deck area where you can sit and relax, order a poolside snack or cocktail. Our restaurant is perched atop a large granite rock, overlooking the ocean. Dinner is eaten with the sound and sight of the waves rolling on to the beach.

The bright lights, bars and night life of Lamai Beach are less than five minutes drive away, and popular Chaweng Beach with its colourful array of shops, bars and restaurants, is a 15 minute drive. 

Rockys Boutique Resort has three secluded beaches enclosed by large outcrops of granite rocks which form idyllic sheltered coves. The seawater is crystal clear with beautiful corals and tropical fish ideal for snorkeling.

Unlike other Koh Samui bungalows resort, all our bungalows and villas are well spaced to offer a degree of privacy not available elsewhere. All our rooms have been recently refurbished and decorated. The Rockys Boutique Resort beachfront samui bungalows run along the shoreline and each bungalow is approximately 5 metres from the sea. We have a selection of these Oceanview Suites to suit your requirements. Some rooms are set higher up the hill, perfect for privacy. Others are set closer to the pool area and restaurant, perfect for the elderly or those with smaller children. There are also some available with adjoining doors.
