Thip Residence, is a new Boutique Hotel, situated in the most scenic part of Krabi, which is known as Ao Nammao , near Aonang and Railay.

We provide 22 rooms which are deluxe and superior rooms, both have seaview or garden view. All room are air conditioned and fully furnished. We have 10 Deluxe room (6 Seaview and 4 gardenview) 12 Superior rooms (6 Seaview and 6 garden view).

About the hotel:
This place is like paradise! Friendly and helpful owners, nice furnished, clean. Breakfast with fresh Orange juice, ABF or Thai with Fried rice and shrimps. Well located to Riley Beach boats; for Ao Nang better rent Motorbike.

About the hotel:
Modern, clean and comfortable hotel with very helpful owners and staff. Nice food and a useful shop. We had a good size well appointed room, ensuite & balcony, and a queen size bed. The mattress was OK, but a bit too firm for western taste. The location is well away from the centre of things, on a beach that remains undeveloped - but not for long. The local beach is actually great if you walk along a couple of hundred yards from the boat area, despite not yet having the treatment - removal of rocks and importing of more sand. At the end of the road is Shell Fossil beach, lovely if you are agile enough to get down to it. Halfway is a government marine life breeding station, which is currently free to go in and off the tourist route, and is well worth a visit. The local bus - flatbed vans with seats and a cover (the hotel called them taxis) are reasonably frequent and very cheap. There are usually tuk-tuks at the boat landing stage, so getting around isn t a problem. Altogether a great holiday - thank you Thip!

About the hotel:
very nice hotel with good rooms and friendly people, good food. it is 5 km from Ao Nang which is only 20 B per person by tuk-tuk or you can rent a motocycle in Ao Nang which would be easier to get there. Reasonable price for good quality of services.

About the hotel:
The best hotel where we have stayed in Thailand. Rooms are large, clean and look like as you can see on the photos. Air con works quietly (not like in some places where horribly noisy) you have a plus fan above your bed. The owners are really friendly they even took us to Ao Nang by car to help us to hire a motorbike there. The staffs are really helpful too. It is a quite location and nothing really near by but very easy to go to Railay beach by long-tail boat (60THB pp) and Ao Nang is a short ride away. It is perfect if you want to hire a motorbike. There are pick-up tracks during the day (40THB to Krabi and 20THB to Ao Nang pp). Problem is after 7pm they stop and you can only use a tuk-tuk taxi (look like a little red mini bus but open) which 50THB pp from Ao Nang to Thip Residence. I think it is a good value for the money due to the accommodation in Ao Nang is more expensive not to mention Railay beach. Highly recommended! If we go back we definitely stay this hotel again.

Very good! Very clean, warm welcome, great people and good food too! Too bad the beach nearby is not as nice... But easy access to AoNang beach by Tuk tuk. I recommend!

The rooms are decorated tastefully styled with Thai contemporary style .Every room has en- suite bathrooms with hot shower. All rooms with air conditioning, fridge, satellite TV, Wi-Fi internet access in room and safety box. Fully wall size door glazing toward the balcony in all our 22 rooms gives you a feeling of brightness and wideness. The light-flooded spacious lobbies as well as our generous restaurant "The Jasmine Rice" with traditional Thai and International cuisine are completely open to the veranda and front garden.

We provide 22 rooms which are deluxe and superior rooms, both have seaview or garden view. The deluxe rooms are just finished this year in Thai contempolary style, soft and tasteful . Where as the superior rooms are bright and lovely. Every room has a wall sized door opening to own private balcony. All room are air conditioned(self control) and fully furnished. Our guests like to live a bit separated from the typical tourists place in a real Thai ambience but at least close enough to enjoy all other options if wanted. Our location is 3 km to shell fossil , 5km from Ao Nang, and 15 km from Krabi town, which can be reached from the hotel by a local bus (song - taew) ,taxi, tuck tuck or motorbike. Krabi International airport is 30 km away which can be reached by a taxi or an airport bus. Our hotel is located directly on the seaside just separated by the road, some hundred meters from Ao Nammao pier, the local exit point for the well known long tail boats sailing to Rai Lay(15 minutes) and other access to the worlds most beautiful white sand beaches islands such as Hong Island, Chicken Island ,sand bank and many others close by.
