Sea Wind Resort located on Mae Rumphung Beach, Rayong, Thailand. Mae Rumphung Beach is the longest white sand beach in Eastern part of Thailand. There are many Palm trees on the beach and very clean water for those who like to swim or relax on the beach. Our beach chair is available for free of charge, every day you will have a chance to watch a nice view and take some pictures from a beautiful sunset.

About 6 Km. from our hotel, there is a village named "Bann Phe", where the banks, the market and the pier are for those who like to take a boat trip to a beautiful and well known island "Koh Samet". All kind of water sport that you might like to - fishing, wind surfing, diving, snorkeling and others. Also many sightseeing tours available : waterfall, museum, temple, Sapphire-market, Fruit plantation and Pattaya City [city where there are many places to visit and many shows to see].

About the hotel:
Not what I expected. The roof of the bungalow was corrugated iron which leaked, as did the windows so I had to wade through water to use the horrible bathroom. Mould was growing on the walls in the bathroom and I couldn t get any hot water. The blanket was so old it was stiff and the sheets were stained. The towels were worn thin and so old it was like drying yourself on sandpaper. The minimart was a shelfing unit in reception which held a few packets of chips and some sanitary towels. No food was available at the hotel apart from a disgusting breakfast of rubber eggs and bright pink sausage meat 300 metres away from the hotel down a public road in a nasty dirty dining room. The cutlery was dirty, the table mats cracked and curling. We left after one night and booked in somewhere else. The website totally misrepresented this hotel and I was very disappointed. Plus, it was in an area that was completely deserted after 7pm, no restaurants, no people, no street lighting. The TV reception was grainy and there were no English channels as I had been led to believe. I did not have a TV remote in my room. The doors fell off the wardrobes, drawers fell out and there were holes were the light switches should have been in some places. We were trapped in hell!

The best way to get to Sea Wind Resort from Bangkok Airport is take the express way to "Chonburi", then take "Bypass Highway" and High way 36 until the end of high way 36 in Rayong, then take Sukhumvit highway another 4 Kilometers, turn right to Mae Rumphung Beach, very good road all the way form Bangkok and takes only 2 1/2 hours drive.
