Offering luxurious 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom and studio suites, most with private pools, situated in tranquil private tropical gardens.Located adjoining the Klai Kang Won (Far from Worries) Palace, His Majesty, The King of Thailand`s official residence, Baan Talay Chine is a short distance from some of the town`s finest dining establishments situated on the nearby sea front, as well as many nearby entertainment and shopping facilities. The hotel is designed in a Thai style with uniquely laid out tropical gardens and stylish private pools. Yet also decorated and furnished with antique Chinese style windows, doors and furniture.

About the hotel:
The Baan Talay Chine Hotel is a lovely place to stay. It was a 20 minute casual stroll to the city centre or a 100 baht taxi / tuk tuk ride. It is located in a very quiet part of town which means you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the town if you want to. The hotel was lovely and clean, really nice furniture and good facilities. We had the Happiness room which had its own pool and a large deck area which was beautiful. The hotel staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. We had a problem with our shower and they fixed it immediately. Breakfast was yummy and promptly delivered within 15 minutes of us asking. We highly recommend staying in Hua Hin as it is so friendly and laid back. The locals are very peaceful and welcoming. You can choose a quiet relaxing holiday or enjoy the buzz of the pubs, restaurants and markets. We are so glad we came to Hua Hin instead of Phuket as it is a more traditional Thai place rather than the tourist attraction of Phuket.

Location Map

The traditional fishing village of Hua Hin has long been a preferred recreation location for Bangkok residents, who have built holiday homes in the area. Most notably the Royal Family retain many palaces and homes in the nearby area.

Over the last 20 years along with much of Thailand's coastal areas, tourism development has been extensive and Hua Hin now boasts nearly all major hotel chains as well many retail, entertainment, fine and ethnic dining facilities to meet the desires and budgets of all types of travelers. At the same time the town has remained fundamentally the sleepy coastal fishing village it always was, with traditional teak houses, tree lined thoroughfares, Chinese family trading shop houses, wooden fishing boats, busy temples, crowded markets, all side by side with the new found trappings of the tourism industry. It is not hard at all to scratch the surface and pierce the screen to find the 'real' Hua Hin that seems not to have changed at all.

Located on the sea shore many activities abound on nearby beaches, from lazing and sun-bathing, taking a relaxing massage or for those so inclined kite surfing, jet skiing and other water sports. Sight seeing opportunities abound at historic temples and palaces nearby as well as eco-tourism opportunities in the nearby Sam Roi Yod and Kaeng Krachan National Parks.
